Location

Taiwan Adventist College is located in the scenic foothills of Central Taiwan. The 150-acre campus is situated on the main highway between Taichung and Sun Moon Lake, one of the island's popular resoit areas.

Historical Background

In 1951, just three years after the establishment of the first Taiwan Mission, the Seventh-day Adventist Church founded Taiwan Adventist College near Hsin Tien, a suburb of Taipei, Taiwan, as a coeducational institution on the junior college level. In 1964 plans were approved to upgrade the school to the senior-college level. The college was moved to its present location at Yu Chih in 1974 and is currently the only Adventist college offering degree programs in which Mandarin Chinese is used as the medium of instruction.
